Hi,
Just had Sanyo HIT-N235SE10 solar panels installed and on one of them there is what appears to be a slight flaw in manufacture. Could anyone advise by looking at the attached photo if this patch is a flaw or not.

Thanks,

Penn

Will it not rub off? Sending it back is a major pain in bottom unless you have stock.

Did I ever mention the huge scratch in a Sanyo 250w panel, bought 16 of them from Segen and bang in the middle of the pallet was a panel with huge 12" scar on one of the frames. It worked OK, but if we had stock I'd have driven it to Aldershot and made a huge huge scene as their warehouse blantantly shipped it onwards or made it.

Update.
Thank you for all of your advice.

To answer Morgan123 no it wouldn't rub off as it was definitely under the glass face, not on the surface. It looked like moisture ingress to me.

The solar panel company have now replaced the panel with no quibbles and I also sent the photo to Sanyo Solar but have not yet had a reply. If I get a reply I will post it here.

Thanks all.

We've just installed 16 Black Bisol 245's and all looked ok on the ground and when on the roof but from 200m away 3 were clearly a different colour. Wholesaler changing them no problem but it's typical it was on one of the most prominent roofs in the area.

I've also received panels from segen with a huge scratch on the frame. Fortunately it could be seen when fitted but it makes you wonder about their storage & handling.
