why do you need a switch on pedestal if they are switched indoors?

local control?? just seeing what the options are. if not required then its even simpler, amoured to JB, flex from JB to equipment.

i would say the fusepur in the house is the local control, IE you dont have to go to the fuseboard to isolate the supply for the pump.

I don't believe there is any need for resin/magic gel (but will probably be wrong)

yeah ive seen them, also seen the price compared to a galv conduit box, gasket and lid and a pack of resin!!

But you get what you pay for in this game.
I've used them before and never had any problems with water ingress etc.
