I do on my plate, but not when it's shouting at me while I'm trying to have a lie in. Not that it would be in bed with me you understand, I was on about the ones outside my bedroom. Not that I keep sheep outside my bedroom you understand, I was on about the ones shouting at me on holiday. Not that I'd done anything wrong to make them shout at me you understand........
Andy, you nearly dropped yourself in it there Mate, what goes on in the bedroom stays in the bedroom, that is only if you keep the door shut when you go out.:D

weather has a lot to do with it. excessive heat can interfere with the mating cycle of birds. also availability of clean water.
raising poultry has taught me that, and egg production improved when we installed low speed exhaust fans in the hen house.
oh and funny as it sounds they like low volume classical music during the day and ocean sounds at night.

although i had a peach face love bird who would dance up a storm whenever i played Def Leopard or Styx cd's but then again he was a bit odd. he got along great with my 2 cats,
sadly the old fellow passed away last year.

Have noticed a fair few Robins about still, chicks only just being born in a lot of nests.

If you see a lot of magpies around your area, that can be why songbird numbers are low, they smash the eggs, so guys put Larsen traps down to catch them.

Central London Zone 2, I have Robins, Starlings, Black Birds, Jays, Magpies, Collared Dove, Pigeons, Wood Pigeons, Finches, Great --- and Wrens as well as Squirrels who dig holes in the lawn and Foxes who dig even larger holes........ grrrrrrrr

Saw a Great Spotted Woodpecker going through my apple tree last week, tree must be ill as the are know as the "tree doctor"

Funniest story my friend from Poland told me was there was an almighty noise from her living room from the wood burner (it wasn't on) and it seems that an owl fell through the chimney in to it she opened the door and had to chase a sooted up owl around the living room before catching it and releasing it in to the forest opposite the house.

hung the bird feeders up high so i have to use a stepladder to fill them but we have lost of birds visiting, wrens, chicadees, wild canaries, and doves. (my cats sit in the windows and watch them for hours, and they never seem to bother the birds though)

Wrens, song Thrushes, Blackbirds, ----, Finches all in my garden this morning, smashing noise. What is a "Chickadee"

That looks most like a coal --- from the British birds I know.

We have been treated to singing Goldfinches around us lately. Never seen them round here before and their song is fantastically different to all the "normal" local birds.

keeping lots of feeders filled so lots of tweeters around including doves and blue-jays.
luckily they haven't targeted my car or the wifes van.
hummingbirds drink a lot and raise absolute hell on the bees and they aren't afraid to go after the blue-jays either
