spare cores when using armoured help

a panel which is fed by 2x 15o mm 4core armouds which is using the amoring for the eath
has the 2 neutrall conducters tapped up inside the panel as no nuatral is required is thi ok or should they be connected to earth is there a regulation about spare cores or any recomendations help please

I assume the armour is used as the earth,? no problem with insulating them and leaving them in the board, or your could sleeve them and use as cpc.

Sure the 17th said should be sleeved as cpc and suitably terminated in the the earth terminal.

Spare cores in any electrical system should be earthed in case for any reason the become live under fault conditons

Reg 537.2.1.4. You muist ground spare conductors in any cable to reduce the risk of inductive voltage.
