Has anyone got any knowledge of a decent SPD that I can retrofit onto large panels?

Preferably I would like it to have its own enclosure and a set of VF contacts so that I can wire an audible alarm and light to them for ease of checking.

I am struggling to find anything suitable. The USA market has loads but the UK seems to be a bit poor on range.

Crown House Furze do that sort of item, or they used to. Furze should be spelt FURSE

Have you tried Furse? They specialise in all things lightning and surge protection so they'd be worth a phone call.

The other people to look at would be Mersen. They did a 'training session' (sales pitch) at my local wholesaler and they seem to have a good range to cover everything.

Has anyone mentioned Furse?

Thanks. Just got a quote. £600 each via Rexel but RS are showing them at £525 each.

Need 20 so that is a big saving.

Perfect for what I want so will be getting these. Thanks.
Yep, get mine from RS. Doddle to fit, great quality, if you are having remote alarming then no need for transparent enclosure front.
The maximum tail distances in their specs are a little optimistic, i just go large on cable sizes for all tails.
