Evening all. Title says it all really. In need of a decent circular saw. Preferably battery operated. Basically fed up of getting boards up using hammer and chisel method. Also, I do a bit of joinery work too so it serves as a dual purpose.

Was thinking this particular model:

Bosch GKS 18V LiN 165mm Circular Saw 18V - Bare | Screwfix.com

Your thoughts please. Thanks.

I take it that you have chosen this particular bare saw because you already have suitable L-Ion battery packs from other Bosch 18V tools. If so it's a reasonable choice, the Bosch GKN18V-LI is a capable battery operated saw for general use, but like most battery operated tools it can 'hammer' the batteries if asked to do prolonged work or to cut difficult materials eg. oak boards and paneling in listed/heritage buildings.
