Hi all, I have spotlights in my bathroom and the other days they stopped working. They didn't trip the fuse. I have tested the switch and thats OK, I was advised to check the bulbs and they're fine. Have also tested between the switch and the spotlight outlets and there is a physical connection but no voltage running through. The only thing I can think could be wrong is that an individual transformer may have gone. It would great to hear what you think.
Thanks Craig

If each light has an individual transformer, then it would suggest a loose connection between the switch and the first light.
If just one transformer for all the lights, then either the transformer, or it's fuse.

have you got power to the switch? if so, it suggests that a neutral is open circuit.

some transformers only work when under LOAD conditions above stated watage so testing for voltage wont work try lamps first
as mentioned if none work then it may be connection at first one

you will require to notify the local authority about this work under Part"P" of the building regs id advise getting a part"P" electricxian to do it and certify as required due to the LABC charges and cost of job
