Spur advice

Hi There, just want to check something

I want to take a spur off the ring, but then I want to take a spur off the spur, my question is this where do I place a fused outlet, before the first spur or after the first spur?

I need a single socket which will power a washing machine, and the second spur to a double socket for general domestic appliances, but I'm not sure where to place the fused outlet

is this advisable?

Thank in advance

or use 4.0mm2 Twin and Earth.

Never liked the ring spur idea, I could overload a double gang socket wired in a single piece of 2.5mm2 t&e spurred from a ring in same, on a 32a mcb. Theoretically!

You are right just one off a ring.

yes was in middle of studs, so i take it there is clamps on the boxes like on spot lights. so if you were going to cut plasterboard with skim, which is best tool. and how would feed down past noggin(supporting studs)
