Hi,

I only have 1 socket in one my rooms but would like to install 2 more double sockets, the kitchen backs onto the room and i thinking about spurring of the one of the sockets in the kitchen, i was going to install fused spur (fused 13A) then off the load side install 2 double sockets. Is this ok? meet current regs?

All help appreciated

Thanks

just a thought, does it have a separate kitchen ring? don't like the idea of 2 sockets in one room fed off the kitchen ring and the other fed off the house ring, I know its not against regs but always the potential for some numpty to attempt diy in the future.
It sometimes can't be avoided, and to be fair anybody working on the circuit(s) in future should know what they are doing anyway, true?

no doubt about it all! but should know what they are doing and actually knowing what they are doing are 2 different things, like ive said its not against regs and yes it will happen in lots of places just not something I like to do.
