Finding it really hard to get the sqaure d tybe b rcbo's from my local wholesalers for a domestic cu.Anyone know if there's any other make that fits the square d board?

Screwfix use to do squared D b type RCBO's have they stopped?

depends on which type od square d. some older ones are obsolete and cost a fortune

try the fuse company, who stock old switchgear, fuses, mcb's etc

the regular bolt-on square d breakers are subtitute-able by siemens. the square-d i-line
may have no substitute afaik

If they are SQO you need , i have the following 8 x 32 amp , 8 x 6 amp , 1 x 16 amp , these were left over from a job , B type , sure i could do a fair price for them

you'll probably find that it was the earlier virsion out in the 80's the QOE type

and not the SQO type

This board is about 5 years old thats all so would they be the SQO?

well the way to find out is look at the back the sqo have a single silver clip at the top of the rcbo whick clips onto the bus bas and the QOE has two clips one for the bus bar and one for the rail , but if its 5 years old then its probably a SQO

Pirtch at that age the Merlin Gerin rcbos may fit. the little metal clip comes out if you pop the plastic off. then fit into the new rcbo. Not sure the type but if its a little metal clip runnin parralel with the MCb it should worth a look.

scots your right Merlin gerin will fit as they are made by the same people its all schneider , prob ive found is the merlin gerin are twice the price of square d well thats what i was quoted , i have said ive alot of 32 and 6 amp B type RCBO's all brand new
