Starange colour wiring help?

I have an ltc amplifier with 2 pin foriegn plug. Says china made on appliance. I cut off 2 pin plug to attach 3 pin uk and im not sure where to put wires as one is blue and 2 black ones? Theres also a socket for 12v use on rear of appliance .

Any ideas?

I would just replace the entire cable with a nice new neoprene rubber one. You may need a soldering iron but it would be 15 minutes well spent.

BTW i would replace that mains lead due to chance of mechanical wear or failing that put lots i mean lots of tape around it.

new flex for about £2.00 out of maplins, and get some desoldering braid from ebay ....... these aren't any particular colours even for china, its just that the sealed plug was never intended to come off, so wasn't intended for the core insulation to ever see the light of day....
