Static caravan hook up

I'd be absolutely fine wandering about re-setting a couple of RCDs (should be an rcbo now shouldn't it?) in the dark in me wellies and know that there's no safety issues (apart from the sodding holes in the hookup either side of the RCD and MCB).

I have owned 5 houses during my 21 years of marriage and I have had to reset an RCD maybe 5 times. So, assuming once every 4 years....
Now, in my neck of the woods we get a power cut about 5 times a year, often for several hours....

Conclusion - RCD's do not inconvenience me, but overhead lines do
