Steel trunking, fire barrier

I need to run some 50 x 50 steel trunking through a fire barrier, whats the best way to maintain the integrity of the fire barrier? Fire rated foam inside either end of the trunking and sealing the hole made for the trunking ok?

fit an intumisant pad in the trunking at the fire barrier,as to repairing the hole the correct method is an approved fire insulation contractor,the person who cut the hole has compromised the integraty of the fire barrier.
