Gas engineers and cigarettes don't go together? Just the same as plumbers and cigarettes or electricians and cigarettes. I can't see a problem

having a collection of lighters ,for when your piezo igniter fails in the cold makes good sense.
(HSE no seeking leaks with a lit match ..!!)
