anyone come across some nice reasonably discrete stickers saying 'this socket is not rcd protected, for use by trained personnel only' for use in a commercial premises that I have been to look at and they want testing?

I do not think this would be a standard label, since it should be location specific and obvious, so I woudl nto expect label suppliers to have these. But I am sure you could get a printer to make up some labels for you, or you could just buy some coloured labels (probably plastic) and print you own on a laser printer.

Gravograph , basic engraving machine best thing I ever used. Could get any colour writing just engrave and melt a wax crayon into the writing then polish the residue off ,,,,,perfect

Think it was about ÂŁ160 second hand with two sets of letters yea you can engrave anything and change the sizes of letters takes alot of practice to get it perfect i always practiced on blank plates to get the position spot on well worth the investment if your doing it alot

What is this obsession with sticky labels?? The UK has become a nation of label stickers in the electrical industry these days!! The last domestic CU i looked at, you couldn't see the dammed cover for labels and stickers, most of which were, as far as i'm concerned totally pointless!!

TouchéI love the old panel with the circuit names engraved on a plate then riveted on. Some how I do t think a dymo would last 40+ years like those!

As per above from Dave. Swap to a 63A outlet and problem goes away. What gets plugged into it is not part of an inspection.
