Had my drill nicked, I would't normally bother posting this but if anyone gets offered an 18v dewalt drill, with the metal chuck, 2 lithium batts, one 2.6 ncad, and a charger with a 5inch cable (needed a bit of flex :p) and no handle (on the box) , please give me a shout :(

Thanks.

A relative of mine works in a plastics factory and they have a laser engraver machine there that can zap your name and postcode permanently onto power tools, just not the Batteries as they won't risk the laser machine going on fire due to a Battery catching fire (fumes from Battery can ignite) if you can post (special Delivery) to them, they can laser on details and send back via DHL.......apparently things have been going a bit slow there due to a reduced order book for the advertising signs they make, so that might be something they could be interested in doing more of to fill in the gaps instead of making advertising signs etc....

We have a lot of this around our way mate. A lad I worked with had his van broken into on a site and a few drills stolen.. Over 1k's worth so a bit gutted. Only for some druggie to be onsite selling them the next day clearly marked with the company's name and pat test stickers.. Needless to say no cash was exchanged.. But a swift slap and threatened with a call to the local police made sure he was out of there.
