thats gutting mate, i really hope you do find them. its a shame there is no way of reg the serial numbers for the mft`s so they can not be calibrated once they are reg stolen through a national reg

Had my van broken into last month, luckily only my old useless makita drill got taken but they took my stereo which was my pride and joy :-( I'm from reading and there's been alot of that recently.

To all the guys saying that they are now worried, get some decent locks for ya van. They really aren't expensive!

Someone I was on a course with said his friend bought a Megger off eBay and sent it to be calibrated and never got it back as it had been reported as stolen.

Gutted for you mate, mine is a dispatch and got broken into in london a few months ago.

The locks are so easy to get into that I had to do a double take just to confirm they had been done. This may be a blessing as you won't have a major repair bill for the van as well as your tools cos they would have got in whether it was easy or not.

I was very lucky as all my gear was locked away in the van vault, best money I ever spent. £70 2nd hand and tapped and bolted through the floor of the van. That would be my advice rather than try to secure the van itself.

Fluke last year had a break in at there factory lots of 1653b found there way on to ebay,
big give away no case or incorrect test leads.
