Storage heater on ring ????

Hi i have been ask to go look at a job where the lady wants her storage heater move from the bedroom to the consevertry but im not sure how best to do it as i think that trying to run one cable from the e7 c/u to the conservertry could be a right pain
is it possible to put just one storage heater on the ring with a timer ?

think there about 10A , if you found out the the power it uses maybe stick on a plug, and then on a timer.simpleist way.... all depends on the power

Storage heaters should be on a radial, many of them are well in excess of 3000 watts.

I, m not sure of the building regulations about conservatories but I would check if you can fit a storage heater in one, I can see no problem but with so many changes to Part L of the regs it is best to be sure.

Normally NSH are radials and each heater would be on its own circuit. Are the heaters now wired in a ring? I realise that appendix 15 is for reference only but it does recommend not connecting a electric space heating device or similar on a ring.

i had ones disconnected when got oil in many years ago and they were on 15A breakers. could i of put a single socket outlet in and reconnected????

Isn't the E7 Cu connected to a time switch that controls the meter-rate Hence bypasing it defeat its purpose?

Sounds like a lazy way out to me:
The next spark who comes along probably wouldn't expect a storage heater to go on the ring final,
the current drawn by this heater wouldn't have been taken into consideration when the circuit was designed,
and all the other reasons above.

but if i set the time for the storage heater to come on at e7 time even if it is on the ring it should still be at e7 rate ??

A ring final circuit must not supply an immersion heater, storage heaters or a cooker rated more than 2kw. p362, 433.1.5
