storage heaters

ive not had many dealings with storage heaters so please bear with..

customer has four installed through his home. protected by old wylex rewireables. new rcd board going in and customer has also asked if there are any new "more efficeient types availaible"
its been a while since i was there . all i can remember about the exsisting heaters is that thier on 15a fuses and of course on dual supply.

yup certainly is more efficent ones!!

CENTRAL HEATING!!! rads and a boiler make a comfy home!!

other than that sorry mate they dont seem to have improved much to be honest!!

Not much has changed with storage heaters, they are a bit slimmer but other than that still operate on the same system, we have stripped out more storage heaters than we have installed.We have found problems with thermostats andthe overheat cutouts being very poor, nothing to beat a good gas central heating system.

If you are repairing or removing them be aware that they may have asbestos in them if they have been installed more than 30 - 35 years ago
