Im new so hello everybody, I am moving into a new property and removing the storage heater in the front room its a sunhouse SSH24A so the question is, is my storage heater wired from the box next to it directly to my fuse box and then to the electric meter because I have looked every where in the flat apart from behind a giant wadrobe in the bedroom and have not found any time clock or radio switch thing they talk about, thankyou in advance ( I will try to upload a picture )

i'd say it was a dual tariff meter which automatically records peak rate and cheap rate, so each bill will have 2 meter readings. not sure, but there seems to be 2 live feeds from meter. one may be for off peak.

There appear to be 2 lives leaving the meter and the LH isolation switch on the board and MCB's refer to storage heaters etc would suggest you do have E7 and the required timer.

What does the supplier bill say?

Just for your safety, before removing the bricks inside the heater.....switch off the DP switch next to it for at least 24 hrs. Gives them plenty of time to cool down. Or, if you do find that it is as Murdoch says an E7 heater, then just isolate it at the E7 board (following the correct procedure of course)!!!lol
