Had my ELECSA assessment the other day with Gary Stevens top bloke and he brought to my attention the Earthing Arrangement at a job I took him to the arrangement looks like a TN-S but he told me I had to put an earth rod in so it becomes a TT he also told me that this kind of earthing arrangement fools nearly everyone and that its very common where I live which is in Hull has anyone come across this before.

I know a picture wood be useful but my camera is flat and its late sorry

If it hasn't an earth rod already, how the hell can it be a TT system??

A photo would be a great help on this one!! Any chance of posting one??

Well from your sketch it looks very much like a TN-S earthing arrangement, but that's not an actual photo of the set-up, so can't really comment further...
