Hi Guys,

I've got my STROMA assessment on Monday and one of the parts of the agenda is Documentation Review

It doesnt specify what documents they will be reviewing, could anyone shed any light on what is required please

I have so far
my complaints procedure and log
Calibration certificate
Qualifications
PLI Docs
Company Registration

What else do I need and does anyone know where I can download them from

Thanks in advance

Dan

Dont they normally ask you to have a Copy of Part P and Electricity and Work Act Doc.

some ask for a Risk ---, or a Invoice you have done..

guess all the paper work for the job you are showin.. you have LEFT it dam late to make sure you have every thing in order...

At the assessment we will need to see a copy of:

· 17[SUP]th[/SUP] edition
· Formal qualifications E.G. NVQ level 3, city & guilds 2360 or equivalent.
· Onsite guide
· Calibration certificates
· Public liability insurance for £2 million
· 2391 if carrying out periodics
· Electric at work regulations

you have your insurance as they Requested and the Part P printed, and Electricity at work act bits too

bit shocked, When i looked at Stroma they told me to come back when ive been in business for 2yr.

If you're doing eicr's you'll need to have professional indemnity insurance cover and he'll want to see your terms and conditions.
Take everything with you, OSG, 7671, GN3, your quals, everything.
If you don't show him everything he wants to see you'll get a "non conformity " and you won't be reviewed for 40 days.
Don't forget your lock out kit!!

HHD gave me great advice for mine ( Thanks again mate ) and it helped a lot.

Good luck.

From what I remember of i mine a month or so a go I needed:

calibration certificate in date
public liability insurance ÂŁ2million
amd 3 BS7671
amd 3 On-site guide
complaints procedure
a copy of Part P building regs (pdf will do)
a copy of EAWR (pdf will do)
a health and safety statement
relevant qualifications
lock off kit
voltage indicator and proving unit.

the guy was pretty laid back and told me what to write for the complaints procedure etc so I just have to have that by next year

As for test I had to do:

safe isolation
ze
pfc
R1+R2
insulation resistance
zs
rcd test

It all went well and I passed. I didn't think it was too hard. They want your business at the end of the day.

Hi Tom...Thanks for the quick reply...Wow that's quick which is great. Just rewired a new build and luckily for me building control officer was Ok for me to get my Part P without charging I better pass ) Lol

So a board change would be an ideal job? Is it just one job they want to see for your initial assessment?

Hi if anything like the solar PV paperwork, you will also need a company review of your health & safety policy.
could also include a company review all through in writing, Last time I had assessment with the scam providers that was the requirement, the way they asked me to do this was for every document (H/S, Risk, complaints) was to start with one & work through each one as an agenda. with regard to this you are actually reviewing the company policies on each one you will have to document a course of action for each, supplier for example are they delivering to you on time, result yes / no, no then how can this be improved order materials earlier, look for another wholesaler, think you get the drift.
