is ok to take a 10mm earth out of a cooker point to a water pipe?? if not what would the code be?

is the consumer unit etc up to scratch with 17th edition? rcd's etc? just thinking if so then supplementary bonding is not required. (if the cable you are talking about is just acting as a supplementary bonding i.e bonding pipes to taps) if its the equipotential bonding (main bonding to incoming water pipe) then this will not be adequate and you will need to run a new 10mm earth direct to the consumer unit
