Hi all,
Been a while but I'm back with a question!
I have just started Testing using the New EICR format, Generally not to bad but I have a few gripes, one of them being supplementary bonding.
According to the 'Best Practise guide' Lack of a 30ma RCD or Supplementary bonding in a bathroom is now a code 2 meaning fail.
However if the installation was installed to the 14th edition, (pre supplementary bonding), how can this still be a c2?
NICEIC helpline were next to useless and told me that you have to test it to the regulations, however I have always been told you cannot apply regulkations retrospectively?
What would you put?
