43a KILN in a house ?? I recon that would be a NONO on the supply front and I wouldnt want to live in the same block as drawing 43a While Im having a shower may result in me getting a cold shower
as for the council Im sure they would wonder why you wanted a 43a Kiln in the house if not for buisness and doubt your tennancy would allow for buisness to run from the house

Council have approved it (it's a flat as above...), this flat is actually going to be used as a studio, it's not going to effect other flats it's the max rating for a start. and they have there own supply like ive said above....

You have stated that a 60A fuse is protecting a 57A (tops) cable. The purpose of the protective device is to protect the Cable. You have already stated that this will not happen.

no way is any kiln getting connected without a serious assessment of the properties load demand and the impact on the cables / switchgear upstream.
i would not take the word of any council spark , do the above yourself to be certain.
is it your name on the design section of the EIC ?

why not take the word of council Sparks who has actualy seen the cable and condition Looks like he is willing to take the word of a bunch of guys on line who havent seen the things he is babbling about and have been drip fed what he is proposing

The ENTIRE block is probably only fed via 3x 100/200A BS88 fuses.

Your neighbours will love you when that pops and no one has any power.

Surprised the council are letting you make alterations to the wiring, the council I work for forbid that.
