Hi,
please help,
ive got a garage unit in the garage, there are lights and socket outlets in there connected to the garage unit,
there is no supply coming from the house to the garage.
Could you please advise me on what size armoured cable to use, and what size mcb in the main fuse board in the house.
Serious answers please, i am still in the process of learning, thanks

Wel he's got 'sparky' in his name :), not sure if the potential part refers to 230v single phase or he's an apprentice in which case his mentor would surely be first port of call.....

your cable sizeand MCB rating will depend on what load you want to run and also the method of installation. the installation will need to be undertaken by a qualified spark who will work this out for you. if you are a trainee, many sparks would allow you to assist to keep the cost down.
