Hi all,

just a few questions on a supply to outbuilding a friends asked me to do. I'm hoping to use this an one of my elecsa assessment jobs.
as you can see from attached pics is a 6mm 3 swa buried fed from a 20a mcb. rcd boards with 2x 20a radials and 1x 6a light circuits with 2x ncf's. now a lot of my work has been industrial so slowly moving into domestic.
friend positioned where he wanted socket outlets but they are quite high for my liking.

does the between 400-1200 apply to outbuildings? if so ill have to lower them.
im trying to make sure this job is bang on so thought id post to see what you think. I haven't
finished yet as you can see

cheers

I can't find any regs relating to it but I'm sure I was told somewhere that the 400 - 1200 rule doesn't apply to garages because you don't want them where they can damage or be damaged by a vehicle.

I'd be more concerned with the lack of discrimination than with the height of sockets.:)

Would the installation/reference method not allow a 32 A MCB for the supply?
