Swa is OK for outside zone with no RCD as long as other Regs don't require the protection for other reasons ...i.e. special locations etc

Not within special location, drilled through outside wall then chased in approx 500mm down wall to floorboards at a depth greater than 50mm. I wouldnt see a problem exept it was 50mm 4core 160A feeding hotel control panel..

Ooh, good answer. :)

I would add, "...assuming that the armour is earthed..."

As long as it length and ccc complied to installation methods then ok, if it was run in an area prone to possible drilling for whatever reason then it would be wise to have a layout plan of the cable run available for any contractors likely to work in the area.

Just to confirm, the buried cable is greater than 50mm from the surface of the wall? Daz
