SWA Cable Under Floor

Got a real pain of a Client who keeps changing there mind and not listening to me

I am putting a New Small DB in to a new extension and was going to run a 3 core 10mm SWA cable to it from the meterbox. The run was nice, along the outside wall through a hole and up a utility room wall.

However they now want me to resite the new DB to a porch. The most Direct, Shortest and simple route to the new porch area is across the new Kitchen Slab Floor before the Screed goes down. The Floor will also have hot water underfloor heating in it

Was wondering any comments on the floor solution as the alternative to avoid the floor is a very long external wall and trenching run

Agree about the position. Porches make me think of little add ons that eventually leak, not the ideal place for a CU/submain IMO.
If going under the floor does that lend itself to using ordinary cable in conduit - maybe a bit cheaper and more accessible?

How about extending existing cables and/or installing a couple new circuits. Why the hell do you need a remotely separated CU anywhere in a standard sized house. Need to increase size of existing Cu??, ....So be it!! Even add an extra CU if you must, ....But NOT remote from the existing CU!!!!
