It’s hard to make generalisations in this game.
Someone always comes up with an exception or two.

Why not ask him for advice, then?...….with all this regular work that you do.

He works ‘away’ & comes home at weekends. Me ‘n the missus have bought a house that needs a bit of work. We were conned & have bought a ‘money pit’. I’m having to do a lot of the work myself. I’m adamant that I will do it properly, abide by the regs & get it checked!
