SWA long 140M run please help!!

Evening all
I have been asked what size cable will be required for a long run. I know there are heaps of threads on here from people too lazy to do their homework but I have and am still lost so sorry if this has been covered i just cant find the answer.
The run is to power a stable block which the customer has told me needs power equivalent to a 2 bed house!!
The length of the run is 140 meters!
Taking into consideration max demand and diversity after doing my voltdrop calcs i come up with a 2 core 95mm2 to achieve the required 5% drop!! I know this is absurd and was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction

OK, so tell what loads are expected, and we can go from there. i can't imagined a stable block requiring a huge demand.

You need to have a better idea of the loading than that, they need to give you more data as 2 bed houses vary and 2 bed house is not a figure that fits into an electrical formula

unless there planning on having a workshop incorporated into the stables I can't see it needing much, the majority heating and lighting.

This is what we came up with shower, cooker, kitchen ring, ring for the rest of the building, lighting and he specifically said underfloor heating! He is not the easiest to deal with as he says “take the worst case scenario” but who know what that means.
I think his idea is to use it for stable hands etc but will never say due to planning constraints.

And as Rob2 said heating which we have to assume will fall on the electric as well!

Will the farms service head have enough capacity, I'm sure you've checked all of that?

Don't forget you can increase by 0.005percent every meter over 100meters but not greater than 0.5percent.

so are you intending to allow for a 100 amp supply then? or smaller.

The existing house if fed by 100A. I havent thought what i would allow for as i didnt like the calculations i was getting, i know this is a cop out but i didnt know if this kind of construction is to big for the existing set up.

After looking into it in more detail as money appears to be no problem to the owner this would have to be a consideration. I want to make sure I am not making any mistakes before giving a job away!!

Is there a 3 phase supply available?
If so, you may be able to spread the loads over the 3 phases and TT the stables?
