Hi, im using a 25mm 3 core SWA cable with a Wylex consumer unit.

When connecting the SWA cable to the meter, do you need to earth it?
if yes, how exactly would you do it?
i.e. using an adaptable box or connecting the cable straight to wylex CU without a gland?

Thanks.

Now what do you think???

You would always try and gland a SWA cable, you can earth the SWA without a gland, but do you know how too??
Using an adaptable box is one way to gland-off a SWA cable, and in this case probably the better way for you to go....
