Hi all

Not come across this MG board before (believe Schneider now own these and some of there stuff may be compatible) I am looking to change some of these MCB's over to RCBO's can anybody advice on which ones may be compatible seems theres limited information online. Thanks

They are C45 series MCB's, the predecessor to the current C60 series.

Your best bet is to contact schneider and ask them, but I doubt they make anything to fit those boards anymore.

Thanks Dave I'll try to contact them tomorrow hoping I can source them be alot cheaper and easier to bring install upto standard rather than new dual supply board with contactor
 
But do schneider say it is OK?
Last time I spoke to their tech help they said yes and I doubt they've changed their minds in the last few years. I know this as we had a major customer query this as they had a lot of MG boards that needed RCD protection adding for socket outlets.

I'm not entirely surprised that they did say yes, that is good to know.

It very rare that you come across a C45 board like that.

I knew they approved the current devices for all of the previous C60 boards.

I think it because all they did was change the appearance of their kit when the re-branded which makes sense.
 
It will be quite a tight fit as the RCBOs are much taller than the MCBs, the original ones for this board were the same height but were more than two modules wide!
