TBH, I can't see a problem with this setup. My only concern might be that the switches are rated for 20A so would that mean the input terminals are rated st 32A? There has been a debate about this with grid switch assemblies.
In practice, the loading is not going to be anywhere the rating of the protective device. So as stated elsewhere, A 20A DP switch feeding a BS1363 unswitched socket outlet would look reasonably pleasing.

Why does the customer want switches for these appliances?
Just have socket outlets in adjacent cupboards and plug them in there.

My only concern might be that the switches are rated for 20A

The cable supplying a ring final circuit is only required to have a 20A rating so what is the problem?
