domestic spark

havent done switching in depth for 2 years now and i cant bloody remember how to control 2 lights by two switches (one at each end of the hall/ two way)

both lights on the same level (in a flat) i have one switch by the front door, and the other switch at the far end of the hall. i want to turn the light switch by the front door on, and both lights come on. and be able to turn on and off both lights at each switch.

i cannot find a wiring diagram anywhere on the net.

also i want to do it surface so i would want to use t&e in mt2 trunking. thankyou all! ask me for any further info

The second light would connect to the first via a length of t&e (1.0mm should be fine) which can run in trunking between the two lights.
Connect the lives together, the neutrals together, and the CPCs together using the terminals in the first light.

think he wants to switch the lights independently of each other. why he wants to use godawful, unsightly mini trunking though is a mystery.

So one switch controls one light, the other switch controls the other light?
Well you could take the feed to one switch then on to the other, or if for some reason that idea horrifies you, you could take the feed to the first light, 3 plate it there, then take the feed onto the second light, and just drop the switches down from the roses.

If mini trunking is too obtrusive you could use 20mm pvc conduit instead.

or even some steel 2x2 mounted on unistrut. plastic condiut is even more horrific in a domestic than mini trunking.
Well that's down to personal preference. If the customer doesn't want to have to redecorate or just doesn't want the wall chased then needs must. Of course mini trunking would be the only option if the customer doesn't want any holes drilled, because it comes with a self-adhesive strip on the back.

This might help you two_way_harmonised.jpg

Furthermore, as the left hand switch will currently not do anything, I'd try the loose brown in here:
