Hi all,

Got my am2 this week and one thing is making me abit nervous.

Is there a knack to stop play in the in SY cable when using the gland.

I've never used this cable and neither has anyone I work with. Tried to teach myself with YouTube videos, a gland and some scrap cable. Unfortunately every time I try to make the cable off the there's 5-10mm play where the cable will move in and out in the gland, this stops when the compression fitting at the bottom is tightened.

Is there something I'm missing or is this normal? would appreciate if anyone could help, thanks
