Discuss System installed thre weeks ago, MCS assesment on the 4th DEC ,OMG??? in the Solar PV Forum | Solar Panels Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net
yeah not sure what to do, seems im to far in to pull out now, thinking about getting assessed so im all ready if something does happen.
Sorry guys I can't see the Fit increasing in the future - but that doesn't mean we can't make a living we're just going to have to cut the margins and pay subbies less. In the same way that customers will take longer to recoup their investment newer installers will take longer to get their cash bank. It's going to be down to cashflow I think, if you can get through the winter this will be a bad dream in a few months time.
Grand - check your insurance you might find it's a bit more expensive, we paid close on 1k.
if u dont pass it prob dont matter for u as this solar pv game is dead in the water (domestic) BUT U WILL!they will be DESP for members soon! best bet for u is like others said get another mcs reg comp to sort it! all that STRESS and MONEY for NOTHING!!shocker!! it took me a month after inspection to get all paperwork through ready to go!!
From the time I submitted 3 non-conformance corrections to NAPIT it took them 2 months to process my application!
I was absolutely livid at the time because I couldn't advertise the company as MCS accredited. Now 4 months down the line it appears that just as I have begun to build a business it's all going to fall apart.
Our insurance was ÂŁ1500
