Really i gess that there would some nice resistance in the switch as well must say to him to use them then

The DC cables should not be connected straight across these isolators.
The isolator came with links in and they should not have been removed or bypassed.

I would just like to add I noticed from the pic the link I wasn't slating the installers work as I can't see it and its not worth putting doubt in the op mind.
