if im on holiday theres no way id be bothering with the state of the wiring let alone making a point of taking tools with me to check.

don't often use the local. all they have most of the time is IPA. cost being an issue, Theakston's Old peculier at Lidl is £1.49/ 500ml, almost a pint. compared to £3.95 in most pubs, and no risk of losing driving licence, it's a no brainer for me, worst that can happen is I spend a night on the sofa, or sleeping with the dogs.

My dad runs his own pub in dorset, they get boxes of free glasses from the brewery, have so many out back they have an out building stacked with them, leave them out saying free to collector on the front. Recently they switched to coke cola from pepsi and got given 120 coke glasses free in 1/2 and full pint, only thing is few days later another lot arrived. so now have way too many.

I guess the drinks suppliers know that if they flood the pubs with glasses, they won't mind people taking them home. But what they're really doing is spreading their logo into every home in the land!
