All good, I'm here to learn!

Another thing is that I've never dabbled with such fuse boards, so is it as simple as taking the fuse out and replacing it with a new one? Mainly worried about safety.

Main switch off then pull the carrier down from the top. If they are mis labelled it's not fun to try and remove the fuse under load.

So I'm told.

I can forgive the Wago error, but surely working out why no lights are working would only involve couple of basic tests.

I once left an earth communing block at a friends house after doing him a favour.
He later decided to use it as a connector block because it looked similar, joined N L E together trying to extend a cable.

Failed the BANG TEST!!

How we laughed!
I thought the Op was a wind up, right from the start...
yet...some of us have been there, or very near...
I really though i had pulled one night in a cool bar...
minutes later "Lola" by the Kinks came to mind, and i nipped out smartish...

her terminals didn't match up with mine...

So I'm told.
The MEM carriers just pull out rather than being hinged at the bottom like the Hager ones.

No mate I'm a little level 2 grad, just had a super daft moment. If I was qualified I could see why it would concern everyone haha... Don't worry I'm not doing any works! Just blowing myself up.

Hopefully when I finish level 3 I'll be wiser haha
I did wonder Ash as your Trainee tag has gone walkabout ?
