not finding it too bad, have had to have some help on a few bits so far how about you?

Im only on the 6th lesson of the algebra but I have been on 12 hour shifts and I'm struggling to take in the information after work, got fri to Monday off tho so hoping to finish it and get my assessment in last minute, was trying to do it at 4 or 5 in the morning and that was a waste of time. You should be ok if your on the last lesson of trigonometry

Ah man yeah that will be hard work trying to focus after shift. If you need a hand with anything give me a shout, it sounds like there is a few people just starting lesson 1 on the algebra over the last week

Hi all
After a long break I decided I had better get going again..
Completed Maths, Eng Science and pneumatics so far, now just about to start Electrical Machines.
Anybody here done Elec Machines?

Oh man, motivation is difficult when the sun is still shining once you get home from work..

I am currently completing the electrical machines unit. I've got one TMA to complete but I've found the maths difficult. This is the first unit I've attempted through Tees Uni. I've already got 4 units from about 10 years ago when I started the HNC through a local college which I've APL'd across to Tees. I remember the assignments being easier from 10 years ago making me wish I had completed it back then, but circumstances made it difficult. Good luck with the unit, let me know if I can give you any help. I'm trying to decide which unit to do next, just got project to complete from the core ones and two more elective.

Hi all, just completing electrical machines unit, the maths was hard. Anyone got any advice as to next possible units? I need to do project and another 2 elective units. I've already completed PLC's.

Just finished the last TMA for electrical machines. What is the process when you finish a unit? Do you need to do some sort of interview with the unit tutor?

Hi Sparky222

The way it has gone with myself is a short telephone conversation with the tutor, generally a week or two after the TMA has been marked.
The tutor will get hold of you or leave a note with the assessment feedback.

Regards

Hi guys,

Just finished the hydraulics & pneumatics unit. I found it much easier than electrical machines unit, the tma's were mainly research and diagrams not much maths which was good for me. Think I'm going to have a go at engineering applications next before finishing with project. Hope everyone is going OK, if you need any help with electrical machines or hydraulics/pneumatics just send me a message.
