The Gimp suit does sound at first a great idea but its dam hot in aus.
I would go with the idea of, strip naked and cover your self with copious amounts of vaseline. that way you wont over heat will enjoy a great sun tan and be slightly insulated..

If I did that it would be like a clip from Meaning Of Life, Mr Creosote, with everyone throwing up.

How can I protect myself from electricity-related injuries.

You need your annual electrical vaccination... I once convinced a work colleague that you could get a vaccination against elec shocks....I am still surprised they believed me!!

Surprised they believed you? Its common knowledge that a small shock now and again is good for you, as your body (and heart in particular) gets accustomed to shocks and so doesn't get hurt by them. If you think shocks are bad for you, why are they scattering defibrillators around the country?

(Disclaimer: this post is a joke and utter ball-cocks. Electric shocks can kill and must be avoided at all costs. Look up in your course materials and reference books the safety measures to take. I will do your homework for a fee of ÂŁ50, via PayPal. )

Giving Australians a bad name is a bannable offence.

First job I ever went on, Common Brothers travel agents in Shields market place.
I'm handing tools to my mentor who is testing to see what the problem is with a fluorescent fitting, 3 incredibly pretty but obviously incredibly thick young ladies behind the counter.
Bimbo 1 "Bill those lights are on you know"
Bill "Yes"
Bimbo 1 "Well aren't you scared you'll get an electric shock?"
Bill "No I've got my union card"
Bimbo 2 "I don't understand"
Bill "Well I'm a qualified electrician, once you're qualified you get your union card. Once you get your union card you're immune to electric shocks"
All bimbos "Eeee really,! I never knew that"
There's me 16 years old and still wet behind the ears and even I knew that was bull poop.

An amazing story Trev.

I thought Shields shops were lit by gas when you were 16 years old. :)

The posh ones had electrickery though mate.

I remember going shopping with Mum when I was little and some shops in our village were lit by gas. One of them was the Chemists that was a real old-world place where the bloke in a white lab coat made-up the medicines while you waited. Everything was labelled with hand written labels and it was always "The Linctus" or "The Lotion". That place always fascinated me for some reason, but I hated the concoctions that came out of there - they all tasted foul !!

I often think it's shame that the shop didn't end-up preserved in Beamish Museum - it would have fitted in perfectly.

Our streets were lit by gas too.
