Installing panel board,swa’s from 70mm to 16mm,all sub mains,using extension cableways,but struggling to terminate in the top areas,anyone know a better way,than steel trunking across the top of board.
 
Some boards have extension pieces you can buy that go on the top or bottom, to help with terminating wires.

Personally I like to see a DB as a standalone install. Trunking mounted under and cables then made off into the trunking.

When designing I want to make future maintenance as easy as possible and a straight DB change is far far quicker without loads of cables made of into it
