Morning all,

I'm wondering if anyone has much experience with the Tesla Gen 3 Wall Chargers? Quick look through the instructions shows no PEN fault detection; easily dealt with using a Matte or similar. Also, I noticed no facility for Load management/curtailment of the installation via CT clamp, other than restricting the charger load in setting up.

In situations where the introduction of a charger means exceeding max demand, such as, domestic with a 60amp fuse, how are folks dealing with this? Or am I missing something.

For context, a client has asked me to install one for them. We don't have it yet. I've just looked at the instructions online. The site is a simple domestic with 100amp fuse and I put the max demand at around 80A with the charger, so not an issue for this job particularly. Just wondering for future really.

Many thanks

Hi Gavin, a load limiting device (80Amps) covering my whole house might be just what I need, do you have any more details on these devices please?
