Test-Meter has donated a prize for an Electricians Forum competition. All you have to do is:-

Show us your install


Simple really, just post up a picture of anything that "you have installed" recently and post it up. Test-Meter will judge each picture themselves and choose a winner. The prize is:- Electrical Insulation Tester - Electrical Cable Insulation Test Meter



Sorry about the poor quality photo, I've broken the lens on my phone, whoops.

You can post up any electrical install due to the nature of all of our different type of works.

This is worth £100!!! Very generous of Test-Meter to hand over such a prize, thank you. I will leave the competition open for 4 weeks and see if everyone has had the chance to enter.

I can’t remember how many panels we had like it, quite a few. All scrapped due to H and bloody S.
Far too dangerous according to them, we thought nothing of working on it live. It’s what we were brought up with and so didn’t give it a second thought.

Just to make it more fun, they were 550V.

It's a MCC panel.

I didn't build it first time, I took it to bits, moved it and put it back together. Six months later I chucked it in a skip.

It had to go, it didn't comply with the 11th Edition.

Just had to joint a 35mm 4 c swa about 15ft up in a workshop, drilled through by roofers.....I wouldn't like to post a pick of that. Looks a bit of a mess at the moment, tidy up a bit next week. Got the production back up and running, that's the main thing.

Busy enough, mate. Trouble is, had to fit a live-in rewire out. Not my sort of thing these days, in fact it never has been...but got to be done. How's yerself doing? Plenty on? Seen much of GS?...
