Test-Meter has donated a prize for an Electricians Forum competition. All you have to do is:-

Show us your install

Simple really, just post up a picture of anything that "you have installed" recently and post it up. Test-Meter will judge each picture themselves and choose a winner. The prize is:- Electrical Insulation Tester - Electrical Cable Insulation Test Meter

Sorry about the poor quality photo, I've broken the lens on my phone, whoops.

You can post up any electrical install due to the nature of all of our different type of works.

This is worth ÂŁ100!!! Very generous of Test-Meter to hand over such a prize, thank you. I will leave the competition open for 4 weeks and see if everyone has had the chance to enter.

Have fun and good luck

We got 4 numbers last night, 10 p shy of ÂŁ100. Because it's been a bloody good last few weeks it's going to https://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&r...aAhsPEe_VJal_qkPg&sig2=D2qpoj-6EkcNgeTUzr1wlQ

Good call Trev, only cost you ÂŁ2 and helps others out 50 times more! Like it.

Next Sunday it is my 40th birthday. Normally I buy myself a new shirt to go out in, think the ÂŁ50 could be spent better elsewhere. I'll goolgle local food banks for the elderly in the morning and ask them what sort of food they are in need of. In fact I did some display lighting in a small food wholesalers last year, got on with the owner really well. May be worth having a chat and try to get a couple of 24 pack soup/beans out of him??? Worth a shot at least???

****, I honestly thought I'd discarded that. However, every little helps. Even if it's just publicity.
The more that right thinking people do stuff like this means more nails in the coffin of these horrible tory ****s.
Words cannot describe how much I despise these people.

I don't think that by us and others being kind to others is going to get the Tories out. I think it will give them carte Blanche to carry on behaving in the most disgraceful way.

But the people who go to food banks do it because they're desperate and the system (which we pay for) has let them down. Sometimes people need a little helping hand to get themselves back on their feet. And in a few years time it'll be that person who gives to those in need like others did to him

No worries, you deserve a medal for the work you have done in the trainee section, I am sure the lads won't mind.

It's all your fault Mike, GMES and Dillb. All I wanted to do is a little comp in the TS with 5-6 prizes. After you 3 got involved with your very generous donations the comp turned into a monster!!! Good fun and we all enjoyed it, lets do it again but next time I'll be more organised. That reminds me, I have to go out this week and buy a copy of the new BYB for the main winner. Ouch!!!!

Ollie, Smithy and HHD I am sssooo sorry, forgot all about this and the prizes. They are in a carrier bag under the stairs, completely slipped my mind due to the other comp and xmas etc. I'll go to the post office in the morning and get them out to you guys.

In a carrier bag.. under the stairs.. all ready for ebay by the sounds of it Paul!! ;-)

Only kidding. . Cheers chap.

Yep, buying two myself + 3 OSG's. One for me, one for a lad that has just started with us on site and another for a future prize in the TS. Btw I'm doing this to inspire myself to stop smoking, the amount of money I spend on cigs is stupid and can be put towards other things.

I know your only kidding HHD. I would not sell them, I'd keep them for myself. Your Fluke multi-meter is really good. That may get "lost in the post" :ihih:
