test on a new shower circuit

Hi all

will be fitting new shower circuit with rcd shower unit. will be splitting tails with 100 amp connector blocks so circuit will be independant.

Does this have to be an eic or will it be acceptable to submit it on a minor eic.

recently been registered as a domestic installer so would like this advice so as not to noify this job and have it certified on the wrong sheet.

MEICs are for additions or alterations, which do not extend to the provision of a new circuit, or the replacement of a DB or similar.

This sounds like a new circuit, so that would be an EIC.

I am with Napit and they use: Minor Works/Single circuit Electrical Certificate.
I brought these from Napit when I joined.
I had never heard of these before joining they are different to the IEE certs, normally as stated above you cant use a MEIC for adding a new circuit.
