Evening all,

I need to get my multi-function test calibrated. Can anyone recommend a quick and well priced service.

I am based in Bouremouth and also North London.

Thanks

It should be possible to calibrate at any temperature, as long as you have access to the data which relates to the temperature at the the time of calibration.

It should be possible to either extrapolate, or conduct imperial testing to determine baseline values for other temperatures.

Of course the can set other baseline values, but those that set the official standard environmental baselines for calibration testing have already chosen, and incorporated them into the working standards. It's then up to these calibration stations, labs, and mickey mouse mobile herberts to be following not just the environmental conditions, but all conditions set out by the official bodies.

As far as i know the labs and/or the testing operatives need to be accredited by an official body. I know our site calibration lab and our two operatives needed to be accredited by the AUSSI standard board. Also our lab gets inspected 3 times a year by a representative of that body!!

BTW you wouldn't really calibrate a test meter at or near to the extremes like 3 to 5 C, or 60 to 63 C, now would you?? So i wouldn't say you can confidently and or accurately calibrate at any temperature....
