Testing after like for like change

When changing fittings i.e. sockets and switches like for like what testing would you do afterwards as a minimum?

The issuing of a MEIWC for a "like for like" replacement is optional according to BS7671 - the work could be detailed on a receipt. Appropriate inspection and testing, however, is not an option and must be carried out on any job.
As a min i would inspect the protective device, do a Zs and probs an IR on line/neutral and lives/earth if appropriate.
