no , its not.
most design work on large commercial projects is carried out by independant consultants whom are completely seperate entities from the installing contractor.

builders build, plumbers plumb (generally spelt BOTCH), plasterers make a mess..... sparks spark. end of.
 
The only difference between us all is, If we worked along side a Carpenter, within 3 months we could hang a door and fit skirting boards, work along side a plumber, within 3 months fit a central heating system, work along side a Bricklayer within 3 months be able to build a wall, if they worked along side us it would take them years to learn our trade.

You've listed 1 element of each of those trades' work.
It's like saying electricians only install Ring Mains.

Well....... I am well aware, as are the majority on here, that signing off EIC's and notifying a 3rd parties work is a no, no.
